These 5 tips to help children develop healthy habits are bound to work. Even if your kid is a picky eater, who won’t let go of his Ipad for anything in the world. Yeah…Even if you don’t have the time or sometimes, well; not enough patience.
These tips will most likely not only help your children to develop healthy habits, but they will also awake that inner child of yours – it’s time to let a bunch of playfulness out and have some family FUN! Ready?
Healthy Habit #1: Healthy eating
There’s a strong reason why this habit takes the first place – convincing a toddler to eat a vegetable feels like you have climbed the Mount Everest. Barefoot. With a smile on your face.
All jokes aside, this is the most common problem, and this just might be the perfect solution:
Even the pickiest of eaters are willing to try the new food if it’s wearing a disguise! Make a penguin out of the banana, a bunny out of bagel or cat from oatmeal. Don’t know how? We prepared some cool, easy to make recipes on our IG page, check them out HERE.

Healthy Habit #2: Exercise
Imagine this; you are 5 years old and your dad starts convincing you to run a few blocks with him. Hmmm…not so tempting, right?
Now imagine if your dad initiated a hula hoop contest! Or to play freeze tag. Maybe to jump on a trampoline? Or a good old game of hide-and-seek. You got the point – it’s all about showing your child that exercise can be FUN rather than a chore.
It doesn’t even have to take much of your time. About 30 minutes of movement a day can easily do a charm. And you’ll have fun also, we promise. :)

Healthy Habit #3: Creative work
Creativity is actually more skill than an inborn talent. And you can help your kid develop this skill which will most likely encourage your child to think in a more challenging and creative manner.
You should probably take some time aside to play creative games, but also to talk about ideas. Brainstorm activities for the upcoming weekend together and encourage your kid to come up with things you haven’t done together. Try not to point out which of the ideas are not realistic but decide which the best are. The point of this exercise is to learn how to think in a creative way.
Now it’s time to play some games! You can plan a political platform together. Or form a family book club. You can even invent a superhero identity together – let your minds wander.

Healthy Habit #4: Nurturing family relationships
The way your children interact with the family members sets the tone for the way they relate to others. That’s why is so important to help them build stronger relationship skills.
But it’s so hard sometimes on parents; with a schedule full of activities and events…Maybe you should make a suggestion – during dinner time all of you will sit down together, enjoy your meal, and talk about your day? You could also play dinner games, and involve the kids in cooking and planning meals. You might just be surprised with their enthusiasm.

Healthy Habit #5: Engaging in the outdoor activities
They might rather just sit and stare at their Ipad for hours. And yes, that’s easy, convenient and fun. But it’s not healthy and there are tons of fun outdoor activities. They just haven’t experienced the right kind.
Every child is unique and they should experiment with different activities until they find something they really enjoy.
They’ll stick with it longer if they love it, right?
It might be ice skating, indoor trampoline park or a game of tag in the backyard. Show them the world! :)
